Peaceful Warrior Parenting
Stop Yelling. End the Power Struggles. Create a More Peaceful Home.
Helping parents trade perfection for intention — and chaos for peace.
For more than six years, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of moms and dads navigate some of the most challenging moments of parenthood.
I want you to know that you are not alone.
I see you
You love your child more than anything. And yet some days, parenting feels like the hardest thing you've ever done.
"I don't want to yell again."
"Why does this bother me so much?"
"I've read the books. Why isn't any of this working?"
"I feel like I'm failing."
"Nobody really knows how hard this is."
"I just want peace."
You're not failing. You're carrying more than most people can see. And you don't have to carry it alone.
What becomes possible
Imagine a different kind of day.
Responding instead of reacting.
Enjoying your child again.
Feeling confident instead of second-guessing yourself.
Ending the day with peace instead of guilt.
That's not a fantasy. That's what intentional parenting looks like — and it begins with you.
My approach
Peaceful Warrior Parenting
This isn't about perfect behavior or quick fixes. It's about becoming the kind of parent your child can feel safe with — even in hard moments.
01
Your calm first
When you regulate yourself, everything in your home shifts. We start with you.
02
Connection before correction
Children cooperate when they feel connected. We build that bridge intentionally.
03
Identity-based change
Lasting change comes from who you're becoming, not just what you're doing differently.
04
Real-world strategies
No theory without practice. Every session gives you tools you can use today.
When you change how you show up, your entire home dynamic begins to shift.
Meet Shawna
I've been where you are.
I'm Shawna Morrissey — an Advanced Certified Life and Parenting Coach, certified yoga and mindfulness teacher, and mother of eight.
I know what it feels like to love your children deeply and still feel overwhelmed by the day-to-day reality of parenting. That tension is real. And it's exactly what I help parents work through.
My approach draws on life coaching, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and the philosophy of identity-based behavior change — all grounded in the reality of raising actual children in an actual home.
My goal is simple: to help you become a calmer, more intentional parent — without pretending you're someone you're not.
Every family is welcome here.
Whether your child is strong-willed, highly sensitive, neurodivergent, has special needs, or simply keeps you on your toes — you'll find compassion, not judgment. There isn't one right way to parent every child. Together, we'll discover what works for yours.
Ready to begin?
You don't have to keep doing this alone.
