Peaceful Warrior Parenting
Stop Yelling. End the Power Struggles. Create a More Peaceful Home.
Helping parents trade perfection for intention… and chaos for peace.
Does this sound like you?
You Don't Need a Perfect Parenting System — You Need a Calmer You.
If you feel like you're constantly reacting instead of responding…
If you lose your patience and wish you could take it back…
If you love your kids deeply but don't always like how you show up…
You are not failing.
You are overwhelmed, under-supported, and stuck in patterns no one ever taught you how to change.
That's where I come in.
Every Family Is Welcome
No two children are alike.
Whether your child is strong-willed, highly sensitive, neurodivergent, has special needs, or simply keeps you on your toes, you'll find compassion — not judgment — here.
There isn't one right way to parent every child.
Together, we'll discover what works for your child and your family.
What I help parents do
What I Help Parents Do
- Stop yelling and reacting emotionally
- End daily power struggles
- Feel calmer and more in control
- Build stronger connection with their children
- Lead their home with confidence instead of chaos
- Break generational patterns that no longer serve them
This isn't about perfect behavior. It's about becoming the kind of parent your child can feel safe with—even in hard moments.
My approach
My Approach: Peaceful Warrior Parenting
Peaceful Warrior Parenting is about learning to stay grounded in the middle of real-life parenting chaos.
It's not permissive.
It's not controlling.
It's intentional.
When you change how you show up, your entire home dynamic begins to shift.
We focus on:
- ✦Emotional regulation (yours first)
- ✦Nervous system awareness
- ✦Connection before correction
- ✦Clear, calm leadership
- ✦Long-term behavior change through identity shifts—not quick fixes
Meet Shawna
Meet Shawna
I'm Shawna Morrissey, an Advanced Certified Life and Parenting Coach, and mother of eight.
I know what it feels like to love your children deeply and still feel overwhelmed by the day-to-day reality of parenting.
Alongside raising my family, I earned a master's degree in history, where I studied the history of success literature and philosophy. Those ideas—about discipline, identity, and human behavior—still shape my coaching today.
I am also a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher, which allows me to bring emotional regulation and nervous system tools into my coaching in a practical, grounded way.
My goal is simple: To help you become a calmer, more intentional parent—without pretending you're someone you're not.
The shift
What Changes When We Work Together
Before
- Reactive
- Exhausted
- Guilty
- Disconnected
- Unsure how to change things
After
- Calm, even in stressful moments
- Clear and confident leadership
- Fewer power struggles
- More connection with their children
- A home that feels lighter and more peaceful
Not because life becomes perfect… But because you change how you move through it.
Ready to Begin?
You don't have to keep doing this alone.

We'll explore what's going on in your home, what you want instead, and whether coaching is the right next step for you.
